World Cocoa Foundation Cocoa Livelihoods Programme (WCF CLP)
WCF’s Cocoa Livelihoods Programme is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and further supported by 15 WCF members, including major branded manufacturers, supply chain managers and allied industries, as well as the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The WCF CLP is implemented by IITA/STCP, ASI-ACDI/VOCA, GIZ, SOCODEVI and TechnoServe.

In Nigeria and Ivory Coast, Source Trust in partnership with Armajaro Trading Ltd. and Kraft Foods is a recipient of the WCF CLP Matching Grants to establish a three-year farmer organisation project that will increase the income of approximately 3,000 cocoa-farming households (1,000 in Côte d’Ivoire and 2,000 in Nigeria) through an innovative community-based farmer organisation model.

Source Trust works in partnership with the Centre National de Recherche Agronomique de Côte d'Ivoire (CNRA), Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN), SOCODEVI, Solidaridad/West Africa Fair Fruit (WAFF), Agro Eco-Louis Bolk Institute, and local universities and government offices.
