Source Trust provides farmer training on Good Agricultural Practice to help famers improve the yield of their crops. Source Trust's training also encourages farmers to understand the value and impact of farm inputs, which in turn helps farmers to manage their farm finances more effectively. Source Trust promotes sustainable agriculture and works with farmers to improve sustainable practices, helping farmers produce a stable and better quality crop.
Source Trust implements farmer grouping, which trains farmers to engage in mutual assistance activities from harvesting to financial support and education, encouraging greater coordination, organization and stability within the community. Source Trust also actively works within the wider farming community, training and educating women and young people on cocoa farming processes and practices through schemes such as Video Viewing Clubs, as well as providing practical information to farmers on farming nutritional crops for their families.

Source Trust can work in partnership with certification bodies, to train farmers to reach the standards required for certification and allow the farmers the choice to benefit from premiums paid for certified produce should they want to acquire certification.
